    Soccer's Greatest National Teams Ever

Please choose which one of the menioned teams do you think was the best.

I know that over time there many great teams, i tried to pick ones that most voters have actually seen or know about.

Feel free to mention others you think deserve that number 1 spot.

Netherlands' best team was in 74.
Sorry English boys, nobody comes close to Brazil 70.
Would it be possible, to play forever?
The conclusion reached was that a player is inevitably doomed to lose.

i've always thought that the best team Holland ever had was their 88 squad with gulliet, van basten, rijckard, koeman ... they are definetely my second choice.
as for my first choice, it kinda had to be argentina '86. most people only give credit to Maradonna, but i think that the whole team was fun to watch. their game against Belguim in the 86 world cup is amongst my favourites of all time.

How do you dare to forget the Belgian soccer team in '86 Mexico, when they lost in semi-finals, I think when Maradonna used his hand to score...

Argentina 86? If I called them dirty no-good cheating swines, would that perhaps suggest an opinion distorted by bias? I feel it would do...

They had Maradona by then, and yes they cheated their way through... But the guy was an awesome player, they were really powerful with him.

Probably Brazil 1958, with Pele, Didi, Vava, Garrincha and a lot more, first time they really put their mark on international soccer

I think so too. Just because one guy in one match in one single move managed to somehow score a goal with his hand doesnt mean they werent a great team. that was a semi-final game which means they had to reach that round somehow. and then they still had to win the final, which they did.

i feel that most people's opinion about that team is distorted. they are either overrated because of Maradonna and his exquisite talent. or the team is underrated again because of Maradonna, this time because of his "Hand of God" goal.
