    Bring back rep!

Come on lads for a laugh, it will certainly make this place more intresting, less members will get bullied and it will be intresting to see whos respected.
I think it will incourage better quality posts, as that was what it was initially designed for.

I know it caused a hell of a lot of trouble but this time might be better...
What do you rekon, at least a trail?

Edit: can a mod put a poll up please?

    Bring back rep?
    Yes or No.

no, rep turned UCP into a big competition between who can get the most rep, and thats not what its supposed to be. I think post count says it all (with a few exceptions)

I kinda agree with that last post of Jim.
However, is there anything else one could suggest?

There must be something else, rather than rep, aye?
Or maybe we could have rep only in the Chop Forums. Then if we like the picture a lot we could give a rep. It would be more fair than trying to put somebody elses rep down just because you don't like him.

well i wasnt around when there was rep ( at least i dont think i was ) so therefore i cant really vote yes or no, but i wouldnt mind some people explaining wat it is so that, if there is a poll, my decision could change

Rep is like seeing who'll be the prom queen -- it's strictly artificial and really only serves to draw attention away from the discussions and to the individuals. I don't think the place is boring at all -- if anything, it's better now because there's not the continuing battle of egos that causes more problems than it solves.

Cedric - I sound like a chipmunk on there. Some friends of mine were like, "were you going through puberty?" I was like, no I was already 20, I just sound like a girl.

Not this again!! All I'm gonna say about rep is that ever since we got rid of it, people have spoken out more freely due to the lack of fear of losing rep in case someone doesn't agree with them. I vote keep rep off UCP.
