I think P4, the timeline is because some of us remember the 1999 launch of the concept, the 2001 announcement of the production version and the prototypes having high-speed stability problems, with one destroyed in a crash and another spun out during a press demonstration. On top of the much documented cooling issues, VW sent the Veyron back to the drawing board for major revisions.

The purpose of prototypes is to test the cars AND to give to the marketing department. So none were "stolen" from the development team. Not sure where you got that snippet from but the intended 2003 production cars were dogs

    The Avantime ?

Man that's harsh, you driven one ?? It all makes sense then.
it was also the "brave new arse" of Renault's first outing

But there agian you like the Prius. Petrol hybrid - what's the point ?? Why not diesel ? and dont' expect to do REAL car things like lug anything heavy in the boot or tow anything AND I've not yet understood why just because it's a hybrid it has to be mediocre looks

Diesel no..!! Now it costs like normal fuel!!!

I must buy a Touareg...so i can use oil of "colza" (sorry...i don't know the translation!!)

    Other worst model:
    CItroen C3 Pluriel!!
    Lamborghini Murcielago Roadster

    Why???
When it rain outdoor......it rain also indoor
But we must specify that for C3 was only for first models!
    On Lamborghini, problem persist!!!

Here's one no one has mentioned:

    Chrysler/Plymouth Prowler

it boasted angry street rod looks at a price near corvette territory, the problem? it was powered by an anemic V-6 and flopped hardcore in the US market

It's also a desperate big company ripoff of the small company Panoz AIV.

I'm pretty much just parroting EVO mag, they devoted an entire issue to Bugatti and the Veywrong a few months back.

the VW phaeton was a sales flop in America.
I'm dropping out to create a company that starts with motorcycles, then cars, and forty years later signs a legendary Brazilian driver who has a public and expensive feud with his French teammate.

Not really many sold. They were pretty nice cars except you need to be a big fan of a prowler to own one today because they go for as much as a second hand viper. The mopar guys bought them for there looks it was more of a cruiser thean a street beast. To bad they stopped making it that 6.1 hemi woulda been nice in a prowler

For the worst car of all time im gonna say the pinto or the gremlin
