Nice list going on here, glad to see that "Vanishing Point" was mentioned, the original is awesome, but the remake is still very watchable

Another few worth mentioning are "Banzai Runners", "The Wraith", "Christine" .... and a couple of classics (and naturally hard to find); "Two Lane Blacktop" and "Hot Rod"

Nicely pointed out, the Chrysler used in "the Wraith" is sooo mean... dont think it sounded like that in the plastic though.
It was on tv recently but i missed it .. Another film don't know if it was mentioned was "Dual" and "Death Race 2000".

the original gone in 60 seconds is pretty good and it has a bad ass car chase at the end. the best part is that they used to same car for every scene in the chase. they launched the hell out of that car (73 mustang) for real (not the crappy computer generated jump they do in the remake) and they drive it off afterwords. he even hit a telephone pole by accident during filming and they put that in the movie. you wont believe its the same car the whole time after seeing what they do to it but it is.

also i think bad boys 2 is an awesome movie and its got some of the best car chase scenes ive ever seen.

The Great Race is a good film.

And, of course all the greats like Bullit, Herby, Italian Job, Vanishing Point etc.
