    Alfa Romeo in the US!!!

    I should happen within 3-5 years (or so ive heard)...

    Its the only thing I don't like about the USA - NO Alfa's

    Can they be bought in Canada - I would love to live there for a while (is that possible) for an Irish guy - but if I cannot buy any Alfa's forget it

    right now i think most alfas are to underpowered for most us citizens and would only sell in select cities

    They tried it once. Unless their reliability and dealer network has improved, they'll fail again.

    That depends and what yopu regard as underpowered. Of course Alfa Romeo's don't have ver big engines (GTA's and V6's aside but as you said most I asume you considered those already), this might be handicap in the US, but they have good performance even the 147 1.6-litre with 120bhp can crack 120mph.

    out here that stuff is not ging to sell in that price range. the cars will be totally outdone by mercedes and beamers that have better pwr/weight ratios and better milage and quality

    The new 159 will be as good (if not better ) as the german equivalents, for instance the 3.2-litre V6 takes (officially) 6"2 to hit 62mph... none of the germans can match that.
