Since I was so lucky the first time - Bugatti

I will try your collective memories once more - an even harder one.
In "Auto Hebdo", a French car and racing paper, I once witnessed one very small drawing of one of the most breathtaking contemporary sportscar designs.
Mind you, I'm very sure this car has never been built, it only existed on colour sketches, "croquis" as they say in French.
The car was a suggested alternative body for the infamous Bugatti 110EB, drawn by one of the world's finest car designers, Paul Bracq of France. I would never dare to compare me to that master, but something says me we had one thought in common: if the production Bugatti had looked this way, instead of that tanklike attire, it might have found more interest (I'm not talking about the Veyron or other VW-designed Bugatti's, they're great).
I mailed to the firm of Paul Bracq some years ago, but never got any reply.
So - has anybody else some memory of this car, or even better, a picture?
    Cheers, Joris

Well there was the Italdesign ID90 which was one of the proposed designs for the EB110

Neither of those look like a particularily brilliant looking replacement for the EB110, I still think that it was originally an incredibly beautiful design, I'm glad neither of those two made the final cut. Good luck with your search mate, I've got no idea.

I'm sure someone on here will know though, usually someone always does, especially with the amount of detail that you've described it in. It provides a nice challenge .

No guys, it wasn't any of those - and it was definitely an original P. Bracq design. It was absolutely breathtaking, which is not something I could say from the above - and neither from the factory EB110, sorry, Sauc3.

I liked the production EB110 its a shame it was such a failure, the above concept are actually very clumsy looking i dont like them at all.
