Exoto is the best, but they're far too expensive.

Kyosho and AutoArt are probably the best "regular" high-quality model.

Maisto is the best of the 'economy' models running under $30. Actually, Beanstalk group has quality that rivals that of AutoArt and the price of Maisto (their Ford GT was FANTASTIC!) but they've only come out with about 5 models so far.

Ertl is the best combination of quality and price. And they specialized in 60s and 70s stuff that I really like.
