    Ultimate Demise of my Saturn

Well, my Saturn finally breathed its last breath today. And it was a fiery breath. My car burned itself in the driveway, about 10 minutes after I got home. The fire crew said it was most probably electrical and it looked like it started in the dash and then moved to the engine bay.

You can see the aftermath below.

Luckily I still have good ol' reliable Dill to pull me through for a while.

Nah, I only had liability on the Saturn. It's not like I would have gotten much anyway. The salvage yard is actually going to give me $25!

Just be happy you weren't in it. Well, with that extra $25 you can get something snazzy, like a TVR.

It's kind of funny though, at another forum I am a regular at, several members cars built in the mid 90's started going kaput (just this week, at least four)...

Sorry to hear about your car Matt. It can be replaced, you can't, glad you're ok.
