wtf thats like comparing a mitshubishi lancer to a mitshubishi lancer evolution

its not even a case of comparison its a case of how much music do you have, how much battery life do you need (neither are good for that anyway) and how much money your willing to spend..

    20gb iPod.

    Better in the long run.

Nano for me. Color, smaller, 4gb is enough space for music, looks better, and it's newer. (prob. more reliable)

Whatever you say Rik. I don't own an I-Pod, but everytime I use a friend's, I've had no problems, and located songs w/ little-knowledge on how to use it. I think the hatred over I-Pod is branched from the hatred of apple.

The I-Pod's great imho, but people have blind-hate. EDIT: I know about the battery problems, but the Nano's prob. got that covered.

Am I to understand from Apples vaguely written bumpf about battery life that Apple realise that their batteries run out, and they have not designed out the facility to change it on the Nano?
    Thanks for all the fish

they all are. just the ipods have considerably bad battery life. Take my old sony minidisc for example it had 110 hours battery life. My sony mp3 has 30 hours. Ipod minis have about 5 hours, ipod 20gbs have about 10. Apple have never cracked it. I have no idea why. But it seems obvious to me, for better sound quality AND battery life get a sony or a creative.
