    Shock Horror H2 here

Drving with my brother this big black thing came out of nowhere
It was Black and was a H2 full RHD and all.
My brother and i came up next to it and laughed our heads off it's not the thing you expect to see here every day. And to top it off when we got back to his home his mate came over and when we told him what a laugh what we just seen you wont belive it, It was his mate's new car he just got it.
To be honest when you hear the story's about them you think they are huge, But in the flesh they are not that huge but they are big and ugly the windows are so small for a car that is that high off the ground wheels are huge but really they are a acquired taste

I saw one on Monday. I think its the concept that is so appaling. They take a huge truck designed for the military that has been celebrityised (!) and thus becomes desirable, and then try to make a version that is better suited to the everyday d!psh!t SUV wannabe. The original design, High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV) (M998 Truck) , was designed as a replacement for M151 Jeep. The HMMWV was designed to provide a light tactical battlefield vehicle for command and control and as a weapons platform. It was also desinged to be deployable from a wide variety of aircraft and in some instances air dropped. It is large and heavy and not primarily designed for comfort or on road ability. Didnt even have a CD plyer.
Anyone who has sat in one would realise it is not a practicle option as a SUV or even as a vehicle for those interested in off road and bush driving. GM did and that is why they produced these softened versions. The fact that there are already plenty of soft SUVs and more dedicated off road 4x4s did not matter to them as they were naturally interested in playing on the name of the HMMWV Hummer and selling them to people who wanted to have a "Hummer" that they could show their friends at the mall. The reality is it is no more a HMMWV Hummer than a Boxter is a 917. However to be fair Willys saw fit to do the same thing with the original Military Jeep from WW2.

dude, Hummers are badass, about 30% of the cars on the road where i live are hummers.
Yeah i kno the liberal tree huggers cry about them but no one cares what they think. And there is also ppl who cannot afford them so they automatically hate them. They cost the same as a Rangerover but are obviously way better.

So Hummers are the doman of rich neocons? Perhaps the perfect reason not to have one.

I think I may have asked you in another post to explain your reasons why. Obviously is only a word you can use when something is apparent to everyone other than fanboys.
