    Why do so few members post replies?

    It's fairly normal for the 80/20 rule to kick in to any forum.

    So about 20% of the members make up 80% of the posts.
    Lots of folks come to just read.

    If you click on Members List and then sort by clicking on posts TWICE you will ahve the posters in order of most numbers. You're onto page 4 before you are sub 1000 posts and WAY WAY beyond that to get sub 100 !!!! WHere are you getting the "information" that few posters ? How many days of posting have you "sampled" to reach the conclusion ????

    True, I noticed that with some forums.

    I guess other ones I visit either get stupid replies or probably have over 10 times the population here.

    aha quality over quantity

    I know which is preferred by most
    and yeah, the "wow" and "lol" type of replies tend to get smacked on here for wasting time !!!!!

    I also think lots of people only post in topics that fit their interests or when they can actually help others with their posts. Also like mentioned earlier, many people read more then they post.

    I have to say, I usually dont post as often as I could/like because most of the time my views are represented by someone else who already had their say...

    but then u get people that post and get completely owned by everyone cause they dont know what theyve just writen
