Could Škoda or SEAT ever come to the U.S.?

I figure that since Europe has them and since they're VW owned, then maybe they (or one) of them could come over here. Mainly because they're less expensive than VWs, yet still have great quality.

If a Škoda Fabia vRS were available here, I would have bought one.

SEAT has done rather well in Mexico but here they are more expensive than VW. You see quite a few Ibazas and Leons (even Cupra Rs) on the road here. Their new 2006 cars are hidious though, I don't think they would do well in the US market.

i think there is only a very small chance that they will come.it will be too expensive to put up a dealer network.

It is extremely unlikely. Most popular VW's come from factories in Mexico, making them cheaper then SEATs or Skodas brought over from Europe.

I'm still waiting for VW to bring over the Polo then.

Wait a minute, VW of America sucks too much ass and is taking forever getting the Golf Mk. 5 for us! So the Polo is a long shot.
