If Honda's "fwd" hug is a typical one, I imagine that a "rwd" BMW hug would look quite odd.

BMW is also enacting the 'active hug' on the four limb hugs which would adjust the pressure on either side of the body depending on the initial impact of bodies. If you end up overshooting and simply grabbing on to the left too far, the right limbs will clinch tighter to correct the mistake.

but sadly it will be controlled by the next generation I-drive.
So you may WANT to hug but finding the right menu and selecting the right option will take so long the other person will be gone by the time you find it
