Since the PSP came out even with the knowledge that sometime being able to play GT on it wasn't enough reason for me to get one. As for movies and stuff why?? I can just bring my laptop and play it on a much bigger screen. The only draw back is it's bigger than a PSP but to me that's a small compromise to be able to do everything the PSP does.

universal media discs. they are small discs capable of carrying movies on them...

While I love the idea of small portable multimedia players there's no way in hell I'm gonna buy into a proprietary media like Sony does with all their stuff. i.e. PS2 memory cards, memory stick and now UMDs.

Hey Rock, what firmware do you have? Any emulators?

As far as emulators or firmware, the only program I use is 3GP_converter to convert MPEG's, AVI's, etc. into PSP format. Then I just copy the files over onto the memory card via USB.

so i just read that later this fall sony is selling the PSP GIGA. The sytem is either black or ceramic white...but the crazy thing is...it comes with everything i got with mine(minus spiderman 2)...but sony also throws in a 1 gig memory stick

and its only $270

20 bucks more for a gig....A GIG!!!!!!!!!!!
