A lot is "old money" not a hugley understood concept in the US, but well known in europe where many generations have built on wealth inherited and can enjoy life's luxuries
Wasn't that event held shortly after the Enzos were all sold? To bring out the owners in celebration?
Anyways, I've seen about 10 Enzos.
4 in the states, 5 in Monaco, and 1 in England. I'll probably see one more while in Rome.

Ferrari World Finals 2005 at Mugello from today to 23rd October
Maranello 19th October - The Ferrari World Finals 2005 got underway today at the International Mugello Circuit. First on track were competitors inthe USA Ferrari Challenge Pirelli Trophy with a free practice session. The event, which ends on Sunday 23rd October willfeature the world debut of the FXX, a prototype destined for a select group of customers, with whom Ferrari has preparedan extremely innovative technical support package. This will involve them becoming part of Team Ferrari as "Test Driver"and their driving experience will be carried out under the guidance of the company's engineers and specialists.
On Sunday, alongside the supercar, the F430 Challenge will also make its official track debut. The competition car is based on the 8 cylinder road going berlinetta which, as from the 2006 season, will take part in the Ferrari Challenge Pirelli Trophy, alongside the 360 Modena Challenge, before becoming the sole eligible vehicle in 2007. The FXX symbolises the most advanced Granturismo car built at Maranello. It uses a 6262 cc V12 engine that puts out around 800 horsepower at 8500 rpm. The gearbox is based on a technology transferred over from F1, with a gearchange speed of under 100 milliseconds, almost identical to the race cars which represent the height of today's technology.
Eagerly awaited will be the usual demonstration from Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro, featuring Michael Schumacher and Rubens Barrichello at the wheel of a pair of F2005. For the Brazilian, this will be his final time at the wheel of a Ferrarisingle seater.
A totally new item at this event is the 1st Enzo Ferrari international rally, with 60 cars from all over the world taking part in a special touring rally (run to CSAI rules.) From the Fiorano track, the Enzos will head for Florence with stops at the magnificent piazzas of Signoria and Ognissanti (Saturday afternoon) and then on to Mugello, before parading together infront of the spectators on Sunday at 13h00.
Mugello will also host the final rounds of the season in the Italian, European and American series of the Ferrari Challenge Pirelli Trophy, along with the traditional final race to decide the overall world champion. Also on the card at the Tuscan track, the grand final of the Shell Ferrari Maserati Historic Challenge which also features historic cars carrying the Trident colours.
Completing the busy programme, a display of the single seaters prepared by the F1 Clienti of Maranello department, including the 1953 ex-Alberto Ascari 500 F2, the 1975 ex-Niki Lauda 312T, the 1979 ex-Gilles Villeneuve 312 T4, the 1991 ex Alain Prost F1-91 and the ex Schumacher F2001.
Tickets for the event are only available in advance from Ticketone outlets all over Italy, or on-line (www.ticketone.com.) Price for the grandstand is Euro 45 and Euro 25 (concessions Euro 15) for the general enclosure. First qualifying sessions for the Finals at Mugello
Maranello, 20th October - The first qualifying sessions for the Ferrari World Finals 2005 took place today at the International Mugello Circuit (Florence, Italy.) The event brings the Prancing Horse racing season to a close and features the Ferrari Challenge Pirelli Trophy championships and the Shell Ferrari Maserati Historic Challenge.
Highlight of the final day, Sunday 23rd October, will be the world track debut of the FXX and the F430 Challenge cars, as well as a parade of 60 Enzo Ferraris taking part in the first ever international rally for the supercar. Also on track will be two F2005 driven by Michael Schumacher and Rubens Barrichello, with the Brazilian tackling his swansong at the wheel of a Prancing Horse single seater, during this traditional Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro demonstration.
The historic cars in the Shell Ferrari Maserati Historic Challenge had their first free practice sessions, while the Ferrari Challenge Pirelli Trophy cars tackled the qualifying session. In the Italian one-make series, the best time in the Pirelli Trophy was set by Nicola Cadei (Rossocorsa,) while in the Shell Cup for gentlemen drivers, quickest turned out to be Sandro Mucelli (Ineco.) In the European/USA category, pole for race-1 went to Irishman Paddy Shovlin (Rossocorsa.)
Tomorrow the event hots up with the first races for the Ferrari 360 Modena Challenge and with a demonstration by the historic single seaters, prepared by the F1 Clienti department of Maranello, which include a 1953 500 F2, two 1975 312T and two 1991 F1-91.

Tomorrow at Mugello, Formula 1, FXX, F430 Challenge and Enzo Ferrari
Mugello, 22nd October - The Ferrari World Finals 2005 continued today at the Mugello International Circuit. The event brings the curtain down on the Prancing Horse racing season and ends tomorrow, Sunday 23rd October, with the world track debut of the FXX and F430 Challenge, a parade of Enzo Ferraris and the traditional Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro demonstration, with two F2005 driven by Michael Schumacher and Rubens Barrichello.
The event will be broadcast on TV by Mediaset Premium 5, live from 9.40 to 14.15, with a recording of the Pirelli Trophy World Final at 18.15.
Today's programme featured races for the Shell Ferrari Maserati Historic Challenge and the Ferrari Challenge Pirelli Trophy championships, as well a display of historic single seaters prepared by the Maranello F1 Clienti department.
In the Italian Ferrari Challenge Pirelli Trophy, Matteo Malucelli (Motor/Malucelli) was first across the line, beating Nicola Cadei (Rossocorsa) and Vito Postiglione (CDP.) In the Shell Cup for gentlemen drivers, today's victory went to Giorgio Masazza (Rossocorsa.)
The race for the European and USA series of the Challenge 360 was won by Paddy Shovlin (Rossocorsa,) who finished ahead of Robert Pergl (HP-Exclusiv) and Michael Cullen (Rossocorsa.) First of the North Americans was Emmanuel Anassis (Shelton,) who finished 6th overall.
Drivers who won the individual series of the Ferrari Challenge 360 after the final races of the season were: Italians Michele Maceratesi and Peter Reichegger in the Pirelli Trophy and Shell Cup Italia respectively, Ireland's Michael Cullen in the European Pirelli Trophy, Germany's Freddy Kremer in the European Shell Cup and Canada's Emmanuel Anassis in the USA Pirelli Trophy.
Today, Mugello saw the first races of the Shell Ferrari Maserati Historic Challenge, also open to historic cars of the Trident marque. Wins at the end of these races went to the 1937 Maserati 6CM Stefan Schollwöck in the "A" category for single seaters, the 1958 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa of Gary Pearson in the "B" group for sports and GT cars fitted with drum brakes and the 1970 Ferrari 512 M of Patrick Stieger in the "C" group for cars with disc brakes.
