Might be smoother now going faster but feels slower.
They would have it tunned into the sweet spots more.

I have ahd that feeling of late with my car.
To me it's slower then when i first got it, I was at the corner with 4 cars to my left, Gave it some revs leaped off the mark and thought this is slower then i first remember it to be. Look back and there 50 meters behind me like they are stoped at the lights cause i went through a red light or somehting.

Even BA Pursuits were a good half a second slower than their sedan counterparts, courtesy of an 1880's suspension layout and bad weight proportioning (the utes about 30kg heavier than the sedan with the seperate frame, although still lacks rear end weight) so its not really a fair comparison. Others have described the ZF's shift as very seamless and almost unoticeable, so with a fairly good torque spread on both the T6 and V8, i wouldnt expect the revs dropping to be too much of a problem. Already some people are getting the cars faster than the BA T-56's, and most importantly being an auto its consistent performance.

I like the look of the Utes more so then the Sedans the Ute has a great big mean look with that separate section.

It's certainly a problem if you want to go faster, and the 6 speed auto isn't the only gear box. The gearing on the BAMk1 5 speed is tooo far apart as well, maybe the 6 speed is different, but i DOUBT it.
