haha. Any word on how he did it?

Initial thoughts from me are from a tree of lamp post, but when I look closer I have my doubts.

Yeah I think it was the street light. But I haven't seen anything suspicious near this car. And I've seen him later that day. And his license plates aren't from Warsaw (I think I've seen this Boxter a couple of times in this area) so it seems he isn't bothered with the condition of his car.

    Fire hydrant/Bollard

I once heard about these special bollards that go down if a bus or taxi aproaches, a woman who had never been to this town before drove straight over a crossroad behind a taxi, the bollard went down, and when the taxi went over the bollards came back up and ripped right through the bottom of her car and lifted it clean of the ground! it was a total right-off after that!

None of these poles was damaged and so he probably crashed it somewhere else before. Apparently he thinks it's some new fashion to drive around in damaged Porsche

Out of town plates, right? My wild guess: visitor unfamiliar with local roads bumps into obstacle and doesn't want to turn in car for long repairs. Is waiting to fix after returning home. Only he won't be using the car as a backdrop in any scenic photography.
