The Veyron has 4,200 pounds of bulk on it. That car is extremely heavy. I highly doubt it could even come close to any of the true supercars now-a-days on the track....let alone the drag race.

And those of you who think that the Veyron would win in a drag race, let me give you a little bit of specifications...

Veyron:

0-60: 2.9 sec
0-100: 6 sec
0-200: 22 sec
1/4 mile: 10.8 sec @ 140 mph

Venom:

0-60: 2.25 sec
0-100: 5.9 sec
0-200: 19.9 sec
1/4 mile: 9.75 sec (speed unknown)

Therefore, Venom = the shiz.

And - Veyron has the most disguuuusting interior I've ever seen....

And you are right, but the Venom is an aerodynamic brick compared to the Veyron. It may be bulky, but many parts have been streamlined. Even the paint is made out of a smooth liquid to make the air travel over the car more smoothly.

I agree, but the Veyron is the winner in terms of Uniqueness and overall Ownership experience.

I'm a fan of the Hennessey Viper, but other tuners could destroy Hennessey such as Heffner he is a master fabricator. Heffner just got done with a TT kit on a normal S7 I believe. The owner's name is Ward and its suppose to unleash complete hell on everything. But with that said the Venom.

That would be very close, but I'd say the Viper would win by a VERY SMALL MARGIN.

Against the Veyron on a road course? I doubt it. The Viper isn't exactly known for it's handling. What about the Vemon's brakes? Just as important as handling. Can they take the heat on a road racing track without fading? 1/4 mile dragrace, ok I can see the Venom winning.

The Lingenfelter vette would win 50% of the time against the viper.

Depends on the driver I guess. But again, the Venom would be at a big disadvantage on a road course.

I am going to say that even if the Viper did beat it at top end it would be such a hand full. The veyron is quite a magnificent piece of machinery. Lets let this topic die until DC comes out with the newer 2008 model Viper which should be released real soon as Viper Owners Invitational 9 Is going on as we speak. It should be quite a car and once the tuners get their hands on that it will be some fun.

the venom would woop the veryon, even with the extended burnout in a drag race, in nurinburg i dont know, the veryon might win, it does have more weight but it is better desighned suspension,
still i would go for the venom hands down
