iirc theres the twin turbo, some older models with a single turbo, and a naturally aspirated model. there is also the older body shape from the 80's. from what i gather in the US the situation is less fiendly towards imports what with no 200sx or skyline, so i imagine it would not be teenager affordable unless you had well off parents.

pic 1 is the older body shape.
they are fairly common here, i don't think availability is quite as good in the US not really sure on that though.

oh yes. as you can see from those pics, over here mods and the supras themselves are well within reach of a 20-something year old willing to take a bit of financial risk.
were you planning for this to be your first car or something?

Teenager, California, that one of the far right could run you as much as $60K.
That first pic is of the Mark III (three) and the last three pic are of the Mark IV (four) Supra. The Mark IV Supra is one of the few modern imports to actually increase in resale value. You could probably find a high-mileage non-turbo automatic Mark IV for cheap enough if all you want is the looks. For driving performance, definitely go for a well-maintained turbo Mark III.

60K USD? holy crap, i didn't know it was that bad that one on the far right is for sale for 36k AUD, and has 500hp.... the pic below is of a 700hp supra that sold for ~35k AUD, but i think that guy needed the money quickly...

Definately not considering trying to get the one on the right Just saying I love the look.

I'm not sure how much I'm willing to spend. I love roundness of the body. Excuse my noob talk.

The six-speed turbo hardtops are by far the rarest.
Here's the Mark IV production numbers.
