    Used the Supra.

I reckon I could have been 2/10ths faster and would have been fighting for position with Dino and Raza, but not all the way to L@M. I have to say that public times (peer pressure) are doing wonders for my performance!!! Or is it that you both had busy schedules...

Regarding the new rule, why? Is it to counterbalance the "ring challenge"
with roadgoing cars in N2s, elsewhere in this forum?

In a nutshell I think the rule might work well with production cars but not with race cars (which can be already a handful).

Note that this is just my opinion and I will continue to compete even if it stays as it is.

Peer pressure works for me too!

Since you asked about the new rule, here's why.

One of my pals noticed that you could Quicktune a car to any degree...run a fast time....change the Quicktune back to 'legal' then take a pic of the screen. The screen would show the 'legal' settings but still show the lap time that was set by the car when it was 'illegally' tuned.

I'm not accusing anyone of anything I just think that to keep the playing field level...since these are competitions...that we should eliminate that possibility.

There is still wallriding and curve cutting which can be done no doubt for those who choose to...we are on the honor system here...so let's keep the racing clean.

Dino, you are completely right about that flaw in the game.

It would be so nice to rely 100% on the honor system, but this is the internet after all. I guess we'll have to operate by the new rules to avoid being fooled.

Yes, tried it myself and I invite everyone to try it. Hopefully they fix this on GT5.

I quite like the Quicktune feature. Although I'd much prefer to just be able to drive my own motors, like GT3. Good idea with the new rule, though it is a shame it has to be enforced that way!
