And I find that when my golden was a puppy, dropping her leash when we were at a beach provoked her to run towards the hottest girl there. Works every time.

i had a bad experince with a GS...
i was hiking at the Shanendoah natnl trail and it was a 7 mile hike n i was tired as crap so i started down the 2 mile access road and when i got to the bottom
(after a scary encounter with a baby bear that turned out well) i saw our lexus. i'm about 100 feet away from the corner and our lex was in the lot. i get about 90 feet away and a lone german shepard comes around the corner and i pause i'm thinking (OH SH!T) and then the dog charges at me
