Holy crap! Barrett Jackson just sold a 1970 Cuda for 2 mil. More money than brains I guess. I'm sure I could have got a couple of nice cars for that....

Yea, the prices are pretty crazy, but that is like toilet paper to some people.

Do you guys know what car that is? It is the most sought after muscle car. There were only 14 Hemi Convertibles made that year, and it represents the pinnacle of the muscle car era. There are more beautiful, faster, better handling cars on the market of course, but not many cars have balls like these 'cudas do.

The Cuda represents more than a car like others, it represents the rareness and exclusiveness that comes with the car. Many people can say I own a ferrari, but very few can say I own a cuda. The car is worth every penny. Any cuda owner has more respect in my book than any other Ferrari owner. Dont get me wrong the 250GTO's an such are rare too but come on, its a freaking cuda. Its mean, unforgiving, and wants to eat anything on the road, you dont get those qualities anywhere else.

Its almost impossible to find a cuda under 30k even the junk bodys in the salvage yards.
Some day....
Plus Enzos are ugly, don't get me wrong, they are friggin awesome and i would take one in a heart beat, but it has a face only a mother/gay father could love.
The best thing to do in a car short of sex is to go faster than everyone else on the road.

Yes, the car will be appreciated by those who understand muscle cars.

Ford's GT40 race at highest level of international competition. The Corvette has done the same and though a little ham-fisted it's still a sports car, with IRS and fuel injection and a 50+ year consistant production run. Cobra: American muscle in sports car guise...
What does the 'Cuda have? ........................Nostalgia.

This is the car in question. It may be extremely scarce, but $2 million for a Plymouth sounds ridiculous.

I believe it was that the 426 Hemi was more suitable as a racing engine, and was too high-strung for street use. A 'Cuda with a 383 or a 440 would've offered good performance while having the manners of a daily driver.Originally Posted by TVR IS KING
