herein lies my problem with NFL - In reality it's a game of two players - the Coaches - and the team members are just pawns.

In Rugby, each person has a brain, and given an opportunity, can score.

Chess is boring, so I can see the correlation between that and NFL.

thats what i used to think IB4R, until i played it then i realised how complex it is

yeah, i played right tackle and deffensive end this year, but next year im switching to either fullback or tight end, and linebacker

my goal is to play football at a major college, call it unrealistic, watever, i dont care, my goal is to be on the team at Texas A&M, TCU, or Notre Dame, for my top three choices, i think if i continue working like i am its accomplishable, im the #1 weightlifter in my class, and i always give 100% so if i keep it up, its a very real goal

btw im 6'3" 230 pounds, so i dont exactly look like rocke's pic, and thats exactly why im switchin from tackle, im not willing to gain the weight it requires

College football is always considered a better sport than NFL because the participants have a point to prove so as they can progress into the NFL, where they become comfortable and Lose their edge.

Any game which has inbuilt Ad breaks loses the quick-fire game that fans and the players love so much.

bench press, i did 185 pretty easily, so i figure somewehre around 220, squat havent maxed out but i work out (3 sets of 8) with either 135 or 225, 40, it was like 25 degrees outside, my frist run of the day and i did a 6-0, pretty bad, but i think on a warmer day i could get a 5.1-5.5

incline i did 185, leg press ive done 600 before

    memorial mustangs

oh and i deadlift somewhere around 360

do you play? all the above info for you too!

no for a 14 yr old thats good deadlift and no, u can not muscle own me or whatever

i recommend you play whatever the coach tells you to play, it will be better for the team that way if you just do your job. if you had to pick, choose whichever you think you are better at, not the one that looks most fun

    team first man

oh yeah and if your back is hurting then you are doing something wrong. all exercises done properly do not hurt

no its because i didn it wrong and its easy to re-injure for me since it hasnt fully healed

fullback looks fun, but i think i might be too tall, most of the pro ones ive looked at are only 6'0" or so... so ill ask the coach

haha what i meant by like i have the muscle to do it is like, i have enough muscle to do much much more than 360 but idont have the grip..you know?

and you still havent said what YOU bench/dead lift/squat etc

It was better back in the days of Rugby League and Rugby Union.

You'd get your head kicked in playing either, but Union had the edge.

It's a hard-man's sport. A friend of mine lost 2 front teeth, carried on playing, and got completely mashed. He can still take liquids, though.

The club I dabbled with for a while was up to 18. I was 14. I played, and was deemed the 'lucky member' as I had no breaks of bones by the time I left. This was because, you run. You do not wait to stop and fight. As soon as you get the ball, you run like hell.

Damn those Aussies though. They're mighty fine at rugby- I salute the bastards.

yeah if you are really tall i would not recommend fullback then, you gotta keep your balance.

and yeah i understand you with your lack of stabalizing muscles

and no i have not worked out in a while or played sports so my stats are irrelavent nice try
