comparing the aussie FPV and HSV models you instantly notice the quality differences, but that gets reflected in the prices.....

    E55

I never really had much knowledge about australian cars, so that deletes those 4 from my list. the jag and the volvo kinda seem out of place here. maybe coz of their weaker performance or just coz of their relatively smaller experience in the field of sport sedans.
in the RS6 versus E55 thread, I chose the E55 for a number of reasons that I have stated. mainly looks, engine, class, interior and price.
so it all comes down to the E55 and the M5. i've always been a big benz fanatic, although i try and let that not influence my judgement. so speaking out of a true comparison, i would pick the E55. again, the looks and interior totally blow me away. i hate the fact it doesnt come with a manual gearbox. but it just kills with its 0-60 run of 4.4 second and 9.7 to 100mph !!

my favorite is the E55, but since i live in denmark i would chose the RS6, because the E-class has a reputation as taxi in denmark and then nobody will turn they heads and edmire the beauty...

Replace the E39 BMW M5 with the new one, and my definite choice would be the new M5. However out of those my choice would be the awesome Jaguar S-Type R.

i woudve included the E60 M5, had i been provided the facts about the car. the F6 Typhoon is presently a production ready prototype, but at least i know it has a peak power output of 270kw and it produces 540nm at 1750rpm with its peak of 550nm being produced between around 2000rpm to 4500rpm

SMG? Argh... they'd better offer it with a 6-speed manual.

By the way, I think the Cadillac CTS-V would be a good addition to this list Come to think of it, I might just choose it over any of the others

well ive heard some good things about the caddy, it shares the HSV GTS's LS6 and T-45 but i believe in a smaller body, so its open for people to choose it.

i originally wanted to do a poll, but forgot to do it

at least now ive left myself open to late editions such as the E60 M5 and the CTS-V

Done. I added the CTS-V, Phaeton W12, and the E60 M5. There's a maximum of 10 options, so I picked only one each of the Aussie cars...

May I suggest the Mecury Marauder? I know it isn't that powerful but sure does look pretty cool.
