Radical SR9 Images

Martin short sends an image intense but oh so brief update on the Radical's progress. These images were taken as of yesterday morning and show the car's progress. Things are coming along quite well and Martin likens the SR9 as a combination of Darth Vader and the Alien.










Judd 3.4 liter V8 mated to the Ricardo gearbox.

This car really will be quite interesting as despite it is being billed as the "budget LMP2" racer it has quite some credential with Peter Elleray designing the car. Whom you may recall was responsible for the Le Mans winning Speed 8 Bentley....

The WR LMP2 and the Lucchini LMP2 are also called "budget" LMP2s

and neither of them did really well.....The key is that this car at least seems to be done properly, with a creditable designer, and an experience team running it(Rollcenter ran the Dallara Nissan/Judd last year)...

Yeah, Rollcentre did finish 4th in the LMS championship in 2005 and they finished 2nd in 2004
