Yes and that magazine covercar might be the proto. Obtaining the correct radius of the side window when they ground down the safety glass was an evolving skill I'd imagine

I don't think so. It's probably just the lens slightly distorting the image (I might have had it on the wide angle setting)

honestly , just to me - that Mini Monaco has an authentic look

while prehaps not so squished down , that fastback should have been the factory go-fast model!
