hey guys, thought you might enjoy videos of a couple of the cars I saw at the Detroit Autorama this past weekend:
Crosley Wagon with a Harley Davidson V-Twin
Citroen 2CV with a SBC V8, kitted up with safari stuff
.
To be fair, if you were gonna choose a car to go hooning on the Ring in the snow a 4WD car with the engine in the boot for good traction, and snow tires wouldn't be too bad a choice.

regardless of 4WD, the mass of the 911 is still in all the wrong places.
Having had snap-oversteer on a wet road, I don['t see the Carrera drivetrain sorting it all out.
I'd only give that one to Walter to do on the 'ring for sure

They used some official Porsche footage of Walter Rohrl driving the GT3 on the ring from a promotional video, just to give a flavour of the Ring I presume.
The guy doing the driving in the snow is German TV presenter Tim Schrick, the guy they get to do all the serious track tests of top performance cars on the DMAX D Motor show. Kind of like a German Tiff Needell/Jason Plato.
