    Hartge H50 V10

The next generation in Hartge is the H50 V10 in other words a 3 series with the V10 from a M5 put in place of the normal engine.

Doesn't that sound nice. Just opened new issue of Evo so cant post you the pics but im sure that in a few days they will be on the website so either i or someone else will post pics of this demon.

The V10 has been tweeked by Hartge because in there mind 500 bhp isn't near enough for their 3 series so they have bumped it up to 550BHP !!!!

Bonnet vents along the length the bonnet ensure that the engine remains cool and operational at 100% at all times:P

    Engine: V10, 4999cc, 40V
    Max Power : 550BHP @7750 RPM
    Max Torque: 384lb ft @ 6100RPM
    Top Speed: 199Mph (claimed)
    0- 62mph : 4.2 sec (estimated)
    Basic price: £117,000
    On sale: now

    Evo Rating:
+ The ultimate Supercar- bating saloon
    - Somewhat expensive for a 3-series.

All in all sounds like a pretty mean machine

I always wanted to turn the old shape M3 into a mid-rear engined V10 jobbie with M5 running gear. Oh for a lottery win.

It says this thing would cost near £120K. What the hell?!?!? Twice as much as an M5??? Even if I had money to burn I wouldnt buy it. I admire it as a feat of craziness, but nothing more. Why would you buy a car with less space than the M5? Why not just spend the extra £60K tuning up your own M5!!!

    Or get a 911 Turbo!!

He He well answer why do people buy pimped out X5s with massive engines its the same principle.

And if you had it in normal colours on the street think what you could do to the self esteme of Ferrari owners or Porsche owners

true i agree with the point of having it in normal colours, thats more up my street.

But its still a different prospect to the X5, theres no other bodyshape for an X5 if you see what I mean. The ultimate sleeper would be a 7series body with a high tuned engine, that would give you lots of comfort inside too....
