"It's better to drive a slow car fast, than a fast car slow"
- ...?
Excellent find. The link is for a pretty much full version of Martin Brundle's Supercars DVD that he released back in 2003. It is a good watch, serves as an interesting alternative if you're a bit sick of watching an oversized pube-headed moron hamfistedly hooning around an empty airfield doing dohnuts and burnouts, shouting out ever more incongruous, hyperbolic analogies. (No prizes for who I'm getting at! ) This DVD gave the considered insights of a guy who actually knows what it's like to drive the fastest cars on the planet (165 F1GPs, Le Mans winner and World Sportscar Champ), who is a genuinely likable presenter, and who actually gives the cars a 'proper' workout around Oulton Park, not just showing off for the cameras.
As m5child mentions, the vid doesn't contain any of the more recent supercars as sadly it was made just before the likes of CGT and SLR were released, and WAY before the Veyron et al. The only other problem with it is Brundle's occassional tendency to waffle on about his F1 days in the middle of the reviews. Not exactly relevant stuff unfortunately!
It's definitely worth the wait to view the whole hour show if you have the spare time.
The cars driven are...
Ferrari F40
Ferrari Enzo
Lambo Diablo GT
Lambo Murcielago
Bugatti EB110GT
Jaguar XJ220
TVR T440R
Pagani Zonda S
McLaren F1
Koenigsegg CC8

Even funnier when you know the very sly, cheeky reference he was making there!Originally Posted by bmwpower
Brundle had just finished talking about his time at Benneton with Schumacher who'd just bought a Bugatti. It was during his time at Benetton that Schumi started having a secret affair with the girlfriend of another driver, Heinz-Harald Frentzen. It caused quite alot of upset amongst the drivers at the time, pinching other drivers girlfriends wasn't really the done thing! The lady in question went on to become Corinna Schumacher, so I guess true love conquered in the end!

Hey thx for the info..always wondered who the incredibly lucky mrs schumacher was..wonder if he's the alpha male and never let's her near his garage..
Alrite finished it..not a bad show at all. I do somewhat disagree with the final order of the cars, but then again he did drive them Can't wait to see him in a Veyron..that would be sik
