    its counter intuitive! haha i just like to use f/2.8 most of the time because i can use a faster shutter speed and it makes a nice DOF

    thanks for all your replies

    It is not a one time oppurtunity for me, cos I will go to tracks very often this year
    But I purchased my camera around christmas and sincethen I didnt really have the chance to practise on panning shots.
    There will be a Ferrari Trackday next week in Zandvoort where I will try to make some panning shots. You will see the results when I come back Advise and comments are welcome afterwards
