"Rollover" with Jane Fonda and Kris Kristofferson. There's no monsters or anything like that in it, but it shows how one little thing can spin out of control and totally wreck the global economy.

But if you want a more traditional choice, I'd say "The Shining."

Wolf creek scared the crap outy of me.
I think it is becasue it is based on a true story and they made the movie really well. It is fairly graphical.

Fast and the Furious was scary, even more so because some people actually enjoyed the movie.

    original Texas Chainsaw Massacre

messes with your mind, walk past any dark desolate house after watching that and you will sweat!! its true, fear lies in the unknown....

i thought Shining is uncomparable to this, seems like a walk in the park..... but its still an awesome film

once you get past the first sighting of the well-girl, Ring aint that scary

Grudge is probably a bit more scary than the Ring imo.... infinite laughs after by imitating the 'voice' down the phone to friends!!!

House of Wax wasnt too bad, i dont think its supposed to be that scary, but I had no clue what it was about, didnt see any trailers, for all I knew it could have been a romantic comedy before I saw it... but I was pleasantly surprised.... or maybe it was just Elisha again

I found Exorcist and Omen quite dull, not that scary at all, Omen especially. Maybe it just depends what mind you're in before you watch it. Ending of exorcist kinda made it all worthwhile

    Arachnophobia.... scarred my childhood

I havent seen Saw 2 yet, but Ive been told ive gotto watch Hostel as well.

you can tell i prefer psychological horror as opposed to in-your-face gore. Im telling you, wanna get scared, watch TCMassacre on your own in middle of night.... the new one didnt do any justice to the original

So far I haven't seen a scary movie, in most of them you can quite easily predict when they are going to try to scare you. But to mention something, the Hellraiser series was not exactly scary, but somewhat disturbing.

White Noise was scary, especially when you have to get on the computer looking at the monitor after knowing about EVP....
