The pricing of the C6 Corvette is slated to be very close what the pricing is now. A mild increase in price could occur but probably no more than $5,000. The same is to be expected for the Z06 which is slated to arrive in 06 or 07.

It is rumored to have very close to or right at 500HP(look out Viper). The price is as I stated earlier, from all acounts i've read and seen it's to be priced very competativley to the current model. I would very suprised to see pricing go above $60,000USD

o i c. Now, if a $60,000 zo6 with 500hp were to be released, do u think the price of the 500 hp srt-10 viper would change? i think its like $83,000 base price currently

just for the record, there is no certainty that it's going to be called the 'Z06', the performance version might have a different name, but no doubt it will have a 'Z' in it
and i think that the 'Z' version will be around in about 2006 or 2007 and be able to beat that glory-hog Viper

The viper is still the ultimate american muscle car! the corvette can dream that it will be as good but you will find it hard to find any other car with the same sound as that sweet 8.0 V10 engine under that long slender bonnet.
But if you really wanna good car that handles like a nothing you have ever seen b4 and can out pace even the viper and corvette, then i would suggest looking at somthing along the lines of the new TVR Sagaris. 400BHP in a carbon fibre body. with a top end speed of around 195-200mph. the new TVR Typhon is even faster with a estimated speed of around 210mph.
500BHP supercharged engine. Now thats performance!

the Viper is not a muscle car, it is a sports car. And also the new Vette will be able to beat the Viper, so no more dreaming.
