I've seen much faster times for the two Rex's, though not much more for 0-100 for the STi becuase you shift to 3rd at about 94kmh IIRC, and a fair bit faster for the IX. But around corners, the Rex is gonna be much better. Full-time AWD, and the new Electronic LSD it's gonna be very hard for a 6MPS to keep upOriginally Posted by nota

Probably take the WRX. If i was looking for something more comfortable, i'd probably also want something larger so i'd look at an XR6T, which as nota pointed out isnt too much more of a stretch

I was talking from fanboy POV. I think it starts out at 180,000 dhs here. The VIII did at 160.Originally Posted by PerfAdv

but then we dont all live in the US now do we ??Originally Posted by PerfAdv
same goes for the evo, but iirc the new sti or the new spec c (with the saab ish headlights) corners a bit better then the evo at lower speeds, n it's got shorter ratios which help it outta corners but penalize it on the straitsOriginally Posted by 2ndclasscitizen
in general tho i still think the evo will come out on top, expecially if you're talking about the MR RS or GT version
hmm C/D rated the 0-62 for the mazda at 5.4 to 0-60 and the wrx at 5.7

In the US, Evo IX MSRP range from around $31,000 to $38,000, which converts to 113,770---139,460 dhs. Still cheaper in the US but the difference isn't enormous; unlike Europe where it's probably priced twice as much.Originally Posted by spi-ti-tout
