New series of Top Gear tonight...

    Yep, its back.

I wasnt gonna watch it, but went to look on their site and highlights for the show are...

    - Jeremy drives the Koenigsegg CCX

    - All of them together try and turn a people carrier into a convertible

    and my favourite
    - As punishment for Hammond for doing the 5 O'Clock Show, he has to drive around in a pink Micra convertible!!!

I guess that thread about the Pink car will be re-started up!!

    ahahhahahaha

CCX was awesome, sone 190mph down the track, laptime was >1:20< .

The Espace was class, especially when setting fire to the £1 Million Carwash! We have the same one as that in our town, and its pretty good.

The Civic test was a little too Fifth Gear for my liking. A lot of (non-petrolhead) people moan cos Top Gear's all about daft cars that most folk can't afford. That's not a problem for me. But I get a horrible feeling it's getting watered down...

Other than that, awesome. The Espace actually looked kinda cool with the roof off. It really bothers that I liked it as much as I did!

Koenigsegg looked awesome. God knows how much that repair bill will be though!

Nah they will get another one. I reckon the repair wont be TOO expensive compared to the price of the car.

I really like Koenigsegg, but they were being infinitely more positive about this car compared to when the CC8 was on, and in hind sight, me thinks it has something to do with the CCX getting intimate with the tyre wall!!

Im surprised Koenigsegg didnt realise the problem with not having a rear spoiler themselves, surely they would have done a lot more testing compared to a few times around the Top Gear track....

A lot of the Koenigsegg's marketing appeal comes from the "mine's faster than yours" ego trip perspective of having potentially the fastest car on the planet. A big rear wing would damage the top-speed significantly, thus meaning the car wouldn't make half as many headlines as it would without.

But what about the electronically raising ones? Sure, the engine pretty much takes up the whole back space, but Im sure they can squeeze in the necessary parts.

Have to say, those huuuuge rear tyres were well cool, but the coolest part has to be the flames coming out of the exhaust. Ive dont think Ive seen a road car that has them coming out that regularly.
