The Rules:

GT4 Challenge 3.7 will start on Wednesday 10th May 2006.
GT4 Challenge 3.7 will end on Sunday 28th May 2006 at midnight in your respective areas.
All times must be submitted by this deadline.

All times submitted must be from Arcade Mode.
The winner of the previous comp. will choose the car, track, tyres, aids of the new comp, and also the date for entry submissions.
All future comps will allow unlimited Quicktuning and softest tyres in Arcade mode.

You will PM your best time to RazaBlade.
You MUST PM your time to me if you wish for it to be included.

The one with the fastest time will be the winner.
If you have a time that you think will win, take a picture as proof. If you win you will have to present this photo as proof.
If the time submitted by someone is unreallistically fast it will be excluded.
If I find out that any time is false, goes against any rules, or is done through any use of unfair play or cheatery, the user will be banned from the competition for one week and will be stripped of all their points.


Scoring goes like this:
1st place receives 10 points.
2nd place get 8.
3rd gets 6.
4th gets 4
5nd gets 2.
Everybody else who submits a time receives 1 point.
There will be a secret time that, under the rules, should be easy to obtain. This will be called the target time. If you meet the target time you will receive an additional 1 point.

The target time this week, as set by RazaBlade, was 0'58.500.

This was the first challenge that I didnt do max tuning! 'Only' put the power up to 18%, helped calm the back a bit.

Guys,

I should point out that this is a 3 week challenge. I am really sorry for the keen players amongst us, and it kills me to have to make the challenge so long. But luckily all my exams finish in three weeks.

Normal service will resume after that! So please please please, keep entering!! Ill try to keep posting in this thread on a regular basis, keep you all aware that it is happening!!

Hopefully, after the slightly awry handling of the last car, you wont mind the neutral-handling but spritely Lotus. Midfield is a good track for this car too imo. Hope you all enjoy, best of luck....

Yes, so that means max power (+20%), minimum weight (-10%) and the softest tyres so would be SS.

well i have no interest in the tuner challenge, and my time is very limited at the moment due to BC6 coming up in a few weeks, but i will get some laps in on this one hopefully...

I dont mind, we've always had a few core players, and additional competitors every so often. But lately it just seemed everyone was swamped with stuff.

Can I ask what the BC6 is?

Board Challenge 6 - it is a series of races (10 races) between the top GT4 drivers on 15 different forums

last year there were 14 teams, each consisting of 10 drivers who raced

i didnt race in the last challenge, but this year i am racing for gtplanet.net

we had to do a couple of qualification races back in april, and we submitted our fastest hotlap from each race. these times were added together to get our overall time, and depending on how quick we were, we got a guernsey to race or not... i made it quite comfortably...

now each driver, on each team is only allowed to race once. there will be a race every 48 hours starting on the 5th of June

Bloody hell. Excuse the language, but it has to be said! Those guys drive like legends!! Im guessing most use the steering wheel, can only get inputs as smooth as that with it. Awesome stuff.

you should see 2 of the guys i race against, holl01 and hOt6o4bOi, these two are off to the world championships in france this year, they are staggeringly quick, i have never beaten either of them...

holl01 will be the one to watch, i am certain he will finish top 3, and i personally believe he will win it...

and yes i agree with you RazeBlade, i have got my work cut out in this years Board Challenge, so i will really have to get my shit together...


EDIT: and yeah nearly all use the wheel, i use the Driving Force Pro, so i shouldn't do too bad... we have a SUPER strong team this time around so we are confident of a good result this time around...
