I've not heard of the Melling Hellcat, but I do like that name quite a lot.
Never heard of Melling either. Is it a resurrection (or zombification, as was Bugatti's) of a classic Marque from England's past or is it some really rich guy named Melling's personal dream come true, like Farboud (spelled right?)? Farbaud's first name is easier to rembember: A Rash. Why can't everything be so simple?

Melling is something of an engine design genius, and the Hellcat is his own personal baby.

That's a good thing, if he can achieve it. It'll definitely make TVR's better.

They're pretty low volume, but what about Radical/powertec? Did they get that itty bitty V8 sorted? I know it's not on the the road yet, but I think the Caparo has a custom engine too. Not quite an engine, but Quaife gearboxes aren't too uncommon.

I think Radical just welded two bike engines together?

Caparo would have a bespoke engine if someone was willing to pay them to build one

Thanks for the info on the Hellcat. I hope that Mr. Melling gets it off the ground. I gather that the engine is Naturally aspirated, which is good.
