There's a few of the the first Humvees in Canberra, and they don't seem as enormous as i thought they'd be, seemed to fit in the lane fine.

Oh no, this was the original one, the army truck made for the road. Of course I driving a 4.5 ton truck at the time and it was on Canberra Ave which is fairly big so maybe if I got closer it'd be different

Surprisingly, the truck'd be heavier when its loaded up with 8 tons of lighting and sound equipment. Not by much though. But the truck uses less fuel

What gets me is they look like a box on stilts when i went up next to one the bottom of the door was only wheel height, Length wise it seemed maybe 6 meters long? looked hard to see out of behind
