    Montreal F1 Parking....

I'll probably go to F1 race in Montreal this year. But this will be the first time I will drive myself there. I am wondering for those who's been there, or who lives around there, where can I find a place to park for 2-3 days and doesn't cost too much. I'll probably use the public transit or other means to get to the track everyday....

The track is actually on the island where the Casino is, but I am only looking for anything intown, preferably close to a highway or something, since I'll be arriving late Friday night...

You can park anywhere near an undeground station. There is station right near the track.... I walked there in 2004 (two weeks after the GP)

Can you leave the car in a subway lot for 2-3 days though?

I would not know, but the underground goes far enough to the outskirts so that you can park your car there for a couple of days....

Doesn't your hotel have a parking lot?

I mean, you have to be staying somewhere. They (hotel, family, friends) should know where you can leave your car in a cheap yet safe place.

My best addvice to you is to NOT take your car to the island. (you are not even allowed to anyway).

As henk said, the BEST option will be to leave your car next to any metro station and take the metro to the track. Even if you park next to the furthest station it will only take you around 30 mins to get to the station in the Island where the GP is at.

If you really want, you can PM me, andd ill be glad o give you more information.

This is the map of the montreal etro system. The GP is right next to station "Jean Drapeau", on the yellow line. Metro fares are relatively cheap, ($2,50 CAN).

like I said PM me if you want my help, I will also be going to the GP this year.
