They're great driver's cars, and the new ones are pretty cool... are you telling me you'd turn down an Opel Astra OPC?!Originally Posted by Ferrer
Of course I wouldn't. But, the normal cars are pretty boring. I much prefer something with more flair (insert mediterranean manufacturer here), even if it has poorer built quality.Originally Posted by IWantAnAudiRS6

I just knew you'd mention that... but you've got to reckon that the new Leon looks better than a Vauxhall Astra...Originally Posted by IWantAnAudiRS6

Sooo... does anybody have a Hyundai in their garage? or know someone who does...? it might be a cheaper alternative for the meantime (1-2 years) until I get me an Audi or BMW... I saw a couple ads that listed the Elantra and Sonata in the $3,500 - $5,000 range with about 50K to 65K miles and remaining warranty... heck of a better alternative than an accord

my brother has an elderly Sonata (6 or 7 years I think). It has supplied already with years of troublefree driving. He does not really care about cars though.....Originally Posted by m5child

My family owns a fully-loaded Santa Fe (the small SUV they make). AFAIK, there hasn't been 1 problem with it, although the interior feels a bit cheap in places.Originally Posted by m5child
yeah when i looked at the cars in dealerships this weekend the upholstery looked like something from a third world catalogue... but it doesnt matter i'll probably buy some of those seat covers and whatnot to cover it up... maybe but some shag-carpet and lay it over the entire interior... but i think hyundais are def. worth the buck especially since they have good warranties and usually lower mileage than a similar accord/camry... i'll keep you all posted!Originally Posted by Rockefella
