While completely avoiding to answer the question nonetheless.

Dino, why don't you give some examples of those facts about bush being untrue? As far as I know, the only one not well documented is making plans before 9/11, and the china thing.

The Kyoto treaty is rubbish because it isn't good for America, that's why it was voted down 99 or 95 to 0 during Clinton's administration and it will be voted down every time it rolls around until it's rewritten.

One main point is China is exempt form many of the regulations that the USA would have to adhere to. The world is in competition economy wise..no one is going to sign anything much they see as an unfair advantage for someone else.

Countries like Canada who did sign aren't even meeting the criteria spelled out within it IIRC...and I'd say many countries that signed it don't have any realistic intentions to do so...it's just political fodder. Much ado about nothing.

All these issues have been hashed and rehashed a bazillion times on UCP already, if one wants to get an idea of the thoughts here one only has to use the search feature. It's old stuff, it's boring stuff....need it be neverending on here?

The current administration withdrew the US from further involvement in the Kyoto Protocol- a world UN effort, to cut and reduce the emissions of carbon dioxide and five other greenhouse gases, or engage in emissions trading if they maintain or increase emissions of these gases.

'The Kyoto Protocol now covers more than 163 countries globally and over 65% of global greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.'

Are you going to provide a link where you copied that from? It's easy to tell that you did because they used capital letters properly, you don't, and there was no mispelling, you do.

Yes... we know the current Admin. also backed away form it, as I said it will be turned down until it's reasonable for the USA and it's interest to engage in it.

Reducing greenhouse gas emissions isn't in the USA's interests?

    You misspelled misspelling.

New Zealand is taking much action as we speak now to adhere to the Kyoto Treaty. It is not something that can be done overnight you know.
