CLS63 AMG vs E63 AMG

Apart from looks, are there any actual differences between these two? Anyways...which would you rather have ?

I'd would go for the CLS and the only thing they have the same is the engine other than that I think everything else is different

The CLS is based on the E-Class, but is modified a fair bit, most reviews say it's a better drive than the E-class, more sporty with a better feel to it.

I don't know. Even after reading reviews putting the CLS in a positive light, I'm still not convinced the world needs this car...

And while the CLS is said to have a sportier ride than the E, I'm pretty sure the same sportiness could've been extracted from the E with the same suspension setup as that employed in the CLS.

You have a 4-door car based on a 4-door car with less headroom, a smaller boot, exactly the same engine, exactly the same drivetrain, probably the exact same underpinnings and it costs more... Why?
Would make sense if it was a coupe (as in 2-door coupe), but it's not.

The car just doesn't make sense to me.

For me then, the E63.

I would go with the E63 also, it just seems a bit more upperclass. The CLS is something rappers buy.

CLS totally...cause it's known as the "Four Door Coupe"

And it looks sleeker, faster, and more menacing than the E63 AMG.

In my opinion the CLS should have been the new E-class. I love it. So CLS for me.

I go for the CLS, Best looking mercedes on sale and its also stiffer then the E class and it corners better. But the E class has just been renewed so I dont know how it is about the new one.
I did read in a car mag that you cant turn off the ESP in the E class so it will just be a straightline rocket.

pick the E because my family prob need the 5th seat quite often...
