so my 7 dollar watch had to go. so i sucked it up and dropped a chunk of change on this baby. Seiko alarm Chronograph. Tachymeter too. Titanium band to match my wedding ring, and CF to make it look "sporty."

not to be a jerk, but to be one... why dont you just get a normal watch that tells time? why do you need something to tell you the time 5000 miles away? or withstand a detonation from an atomic bomb? the most i would put on there is maybe a timer and an alarm... can anyone tell me why this is? why spend 50 bucks on a watch, for that matter 500.

Why spend 50 grand on a car if it gets you from point A to B?

    There's your reasoning.

umm, i guess you don't really know whats going in with watches. all those little dials are just a stopwatch and an alarm. but also, in regards to the 5000 miles away comment, in my job i often need to use GMT, so its nice to have my watch set up to that as well.

    Not a Motorola fan?

Ive only ever owned Nokia's before to be honest, last phone was a 5140. Solid enough phone, but after awhile i realised im not a bricklayer, and didnt need something that was a brick at the expense of cheap software.
