Money can't buy you friends, but you do get a better class of enemy.

Choosing the RS4 is not my idea of saving fuel, since both aren't exactly getting the best fuel mileage you can get. But I'd love to choose the A8 diesel.

Over an F430? Or are you refering to the Citroën Mehari?

No, I meant if I wanted an Audi with decent fuel economy.

I'll only take an F430 over an RS4 if the F430 has the manual gearbox. I'm not a fan of the idea of clutchless shifts if I'm not racing every day.

This is one of the best comparos I've seen in a long time.

    Audi, please

Avant or Cabriolet. I'm not fussed. In electric blue if it's the Avant, black if it's the 'vertible!

If you can afford to consider to buy a Ferrari then i am sure you have got the money to buy the petrol...If you want good MPG then get a small diesel....

I'd have nearly anything over a Ferrari these days...

    This comparison is only crazy.
I can't believe, that anybody will decide between the Audi and the 430.
Maybe some 430 owners will take the Audi as their daily driver, but not for fun.

There's a bit of a problem with Ferrari's image these days...

Rather ridiculous comparison. Not the same class of car.

RS4 if I need to transport four passengers very quickly, F430 any other time.

    Wich is...???

I would bet my neck as any of you who said would chose the Audi, were in fact in the position of chosing, would immeditely fall for the Ferrari keys. Don't be offended but I think you all say that because the choice it's not for real. It's like comparing Avril Lavigne to Elizabeth Hurley. They both look good, but one of them is a teen and the other a real woman.

As someone said long time ago, Ferrari is the most arrogant car company these days, a feeling enhanced by their "supporters". Of course I'd like to try all their range, but if I had to have one everyday I'd rather have a Maserati or an Aston Martin.
