Which Aston do you prefer??
Vanquish/S
DB9 coupe/volante
DBS (the new one in the bond film, i hear they'll build it as a limited production, though i'd think it should replace the Vanquish)

What about the DB9 Sport? Also, I'm not sure people are going to prefer a Vanquish over a Vanquish S.
Personally I feel that the Vanquish and AMV8 should be supercharged (~600bhp and ~400bhp with a bigger gain in torque respectively) and the 520 bhp V12 put in the DB9 to bring the performance closer to the price and competitors.
I would take the V8, as I think that it's not worth the extra quid to get the DB9. The Vanquish is out of the question
Minimising losses can maximise net gains
How about the Invisible Vanquish from Die Another Day - with the rocket launchers, ejector seat etc?
Any word on what sort of gadgets the DBS will have in Casino Royale? And is it true there's going to be no "Q"??? PLEEASE tell me it isn't true!!!

Ill take a DB9 Volante and a Vantage please.
I will take both DB9s. My favourite car ever! i just love them. amzingly beautiful, fast, comfortable and sounds just as good as it looks. I didn't know they've already made the DBS. I thought that the DBS was just for the new Bond movie, Casino Royale and that they will relaese it after the movie and will replace the Vanquish. Well i guess i was misinformed!
Monty, I believe you are correct, No Q, no car gizmos, and very few gadgets at all.

can Desire be engineered ?
Well, I think that's sorta the right way to go - I think they've been taking it all a bit too far (with the invisible cars and the like) - if the new one's more character-driven, it should make for a better watch.Originally Posted by Cyco
But I'm still pissed off at the lack of Q John Cleese was real good as Q in the last one, an the Q scenes have been some of the best in past films.....ah well...

As you can see in my avatar, the desicion is pretty simple. The DBS is simply epic. I would choose this over any other Aston any day. The DB9 would have been my second choice, but when you drive, you immediatly feel that it lacks the sportiness of its major rivals, the Ferrari F430 and Lamborghini Gallardo. Well i guess thats why they made the DB9 Sport Pack, but its still the DBS for me.
Just think how useful some of that stuff would be in traffic jams, though.Originally Posted by Monty_Burns
Pierce Brosnan was the best James Bond, and no one can replace what he did. He was perfect for the role.
And technically... it wasn't Q, his name was R...
the name (ex. db9 coupe) also includes any special packages and 1-offs of the models count (as long as they exist ). sorry i failed to mention thatOriginally Posted by pimento

Yeah.....best Bond would be between Brosnan and Sean Connery (I know - stating the obvious). But I think Brosnan's ones were leaning too much towards a conventional mega-action movie......but yes, he was great for the role, i agree. I havent seen any of Daniel Craig's films, so I dont really know what sorta actor he is - he doesnt look right for Bond though...Originally Posted by IWantAnAudiRS6
He was only called 'R' in The World is not Enough. Im pretty sure in Die Another Day, he was called Q (cause the Desmond Llewelyn...the original Q died between films).
