I'm curious about all the things that make a Rolls Royce so special. i have a project assigned by my teacher and i chose the topic 'super luxury cars'. i have the necessary info on Bentleys but nothing on Rolls Royces.

Seeing as how they were the same company for quite a long time, I'd guess they have a lot in common.
What sort of "info" are you looking for?
History, brand identity, target market?
If you read through any RR press releases they should tell you most of why RR think they are so good.
Thanks for all the fish
You should also look into the Maybachs, the Bugaty Veyron and old Hispano suizas.Originally Posted by silverhawk

EDIT: By the way, the company is properly spelled "Rolls-Royce," with the hyphen. That might help you in your search.

Is your project specifically on British cars or Rolls?
If not go to The Bugatti Page and go to Type 41. Bugattis actually have a longer history than Rolls (See Ettore and the Tricycle 1898)
and the T41 was built to knock Rolls off the market.Regretably due to the Great Deppression this did not happen.
Could make a nice comparative project.

Have you tried Google? Or the RR site itself?Originally Posted by silverhawk

I would say Wikipedia would be best.

Probably looking for the bottom one.
All about the t-tops
sliverhawk, you should've done supercars, not super luxury cars. it would've been so much easier. but anyway, heres what i know -
the leather hides come from cows that were never near barbed wire
the grilles are polished by hand for about 6 hours or more
wood veneers are polished to achieve a finish as smooth as glass.
the phantom's V12 is hand-built
and soooooooooo on
