Duesenberg Ressurected?

I came across this today, and was wondering if anyone had any more information on this. All I have is that a group Americans are planning to bring Duesenberg back with a sportscar called the "Torpedo Coupe."

I dont care if it is a repost. That cars beautiful it would be very cool if they made it. I go to the Auburn car show every year and hopfully ill go to the Cord/Des/Auburn Museum this winter.

I've been there, and its fabulous. You won't be dissappointed, they got all sorts of Auburns, Cords, Desenbergs, etc. All the rare ones. Its awesome.

Some of the most beautiful cars ever made were American and in the '30s. That's why I love playing the game Mafia, so many amazing cars...

Indeed. The greatest cars ever designed happened in the 30's and 40's. If you ask me, the concept posted doesn't really fulfil it, looks kind of like a Bugatti/Bentley love child.

Another fan of American pre & immediate-postwar style, especially that golden era from 1929 to 1933. For me, apart from the ACD cars (which were all stunners) some other particularly attractive beasts that come to mind are '33 Chrysler Imperial, similar era classic Caddies and Packards, the Lincoln K and Zephyr, Studebaker President and later art deco Lasalle

Other USA cuties include the fabulous 1939-40 Graham sharknose coupe (8cyl with supercharger!) and those evil looking postwar Nash 'bathtub' fastback coupes

I seen A cord at a car show in Southern Florida and the owner said it was so rare that its priceless.

Cord 812s are rare and expensive, but nowhere near the level of rarity as, say, a Chrysler Imperial. A Cord L29 Coupe is MUCH more rare.

You see a few cords around. Here in Arkansas, a guy named Nelson Rockefeller, yes those Rockefellers, came down and built a car museum atop Petit Jean Mountain, named after a naive, star-crossed, and luckless French chick, but that's off-topic.
They've got an original, unrestored Auburn Boattail Speedster, a 20's Rolls Silver Ghost coupe, and a Mercedes 540K touring car.
Not bad for a museum in the very heart of hillbilly country.
