what year was your mini? mine was an 04 with the unrevised gearbox that came out in 05, which provided better economy and better performance on the autox track.
i have a friend with an 07 who is averaging about 32 US mpg. although, she really doesnt romp on it too much.
Honor. Courage. Commitment. Etcetera.
It's from Feb 05, the facelift model. I reckon that if you are really careful you could get it down to 7-8l/100km (34-29mpg) if you didn't do much city driving. The temptation to drop a couple of gears and floor it just for the sake of it is too great though
At 90mph (or more...) impossible.
Lack of charisma can be fatal.
Visca Catalunya!
Get between 5 and 6l/100km on my 6, depending on how I go on the throttle. Just love holding it around 6-7000rpm, when you roll on there it sounds like there's a bloody tiger in the airbox

flat on 40mpg (6L/100km) in the mini, no matter how i drive it lol.

Yeah, but that's probably because you can only drive it flat out.

that is true..if i let off, aerodynamics bring it to a halt like a giant airbrake lol.
not slowing down for corners helps

I normally get around 10L/100km in the Pulsar, the last tank and a half i switched from E10 to ULP to see how it'd go for a couple of tanks. So far it looks like its getting about 11-12L/100km, or my fuel guage is getting more faulty.

First tank for the Berlina, Engine 3.8lt V6 4 speed auto. Tank size 75 litres.

Well 10L/100km is with maybe 5% highway driving, and even though i do drive with a bit of spirit, it doesnt get all that much lower. It'd probably only be 9L/100km even with 100% highway driving, although i got that low once on a normal cycle. From the little research ive done, 10/100 seems to be the norm for N13's anyway.
Its not the first time though the economy's gone wack after switching between E10 and ULP though.

You trust that E10 shit?, Only short periods?.
I haven't seen it around here yet.

Ive been using it for a couple of months now, which is why i thought i'd go back to ULP and see how the economy goes. The last couple of times ive done a few tanks on each, theres never been much between them. I mainly use Mobil though, with the odd tank from either 7Eleven or United. Mobil reckon they put an anti-corrosive in their E10 so that doesnt worry me too much.

Thou shalt bow down to my almighty 13.7mpg. (best ever )

On the shore lay Montezuma
With his cocoa leaves and pearls
