Fortunately, Jimmie Johnson won the Nextel Cup Championship!
Whooooo Montoya! My only interest in NASCAR is now in Montoya (and possibly Villeneuve) as my elitist ass hopes those two ex-F1 jockeys can wipe the ass of the guys in NASCAR (ok, my dream is unrealistic). I will follow NASCAR WITH ZEST (ie read about it on the net) to see if one of these STELLAR!1!!1111!!1!!!!! racers can win!

P.S. Why does Jacques suck now? He makes my country look dumb. I wish his father won a title.

Um... Montoya's car also burst into flames.
I'm dropping out to create a company that starts with motorcycles, then cars, and forty years later signs a legendary Brazilian driver who has a public and expensive feud with his French teammate.

Yup. Bit of a scare for him. Never nice to realise the car is on fire and it's getting bigger! He looked pretty panicky as he was jumping out (as you would!)

No, Gilles never won a title (unless you're counting snow-mobile racing!). He was 2nd in 1979, but that was as close as he ever got.
