    My First Car!!

So... I finally bought a Car.

Its a 1992 Honda Civic Si.
It was owned by my brother for the last 3-4 years and now its in my hands. It has around 180 000 kms and it is in pretty good shape for a car which has seen so many winters.
Here are some specs i found on the car:

The USDM Civic Si of 1992-1995 sported a 125 hp / 106 tq single overhead cam D16z6VTEC engine. Standard equipment included 14 inch steel wheels with plastic wheel covers, dash clock, power sliding moonroof, cruise control, power mirrors, power steering, and driver's side airbag. In 1994, a passenger side airbag and rear speakers were added.

0-60 mph for a 1992 Civic Si is recorded at 8.5 seconds.

    From Consumer guide

The car is in excellent state. It has a lot of kilometers in it but i spent most of them in the car, on very very long road trips across the border.

The car has a practically new set of winter tires and medium aged summer tires with accord wheels. which look quite good as you can see in the pics below).

Other than that its a very light car and it has decent amount of power so it is pretty fast allthough its nothing great. the steering is SUPER soft and the tachometer doesn't work...lol

But i don't care, i LOVE IT because it MINE.... ALL MINE!!!

Pic 1 is somewhere in the US... 3 years ago

Not bad for a first car, just expect a bunch of kids trying to race you at stoplights.

Yes in these pics the car ha s its winter tires, hence the crappy mags, in the first 4 the car is fitted with the summer tires, and the accord mags.

Those people are just jealous because a Honda Civic is likely to be more reliable and have superior build quality when compared to their car.

    Congratulations ZeTurbo. Enjoy it.

congrats on a good first car....2 years ago i retired a similar civic (same engine etc) from a wanabee street racer. it had 100k+ miles, noisy gearbox and lowered suspension. 2 months later i spun it on a snowy road. I think this car is a lot of fun to drive and i love the split taligate. I might consider the 1.6 vti in future. Hope you have some fun first miles!

edit: Mine had pretty bad fuel consumption (less than 30mpg) i assume you'll get better than that. keep us updated
