All about the t-tops
There was to be a section filmed in Sydney but as they were there preparing to shoot, they were told they'd need to make certain "contributions" to certain people to get a permit, so they understandably pissed off producer told them to stick it. But seeing the old racer head down across Seacliff Rd was pretty good.
lovely video. Its length may mean it'll only be shown on prime time television but still, a worth competitor to hondas adverts.
This could have been posted here:

this thread gives the final 'result' though. Posting it in there would've deflated its premier
I saw it on TV for the first time last night.
And it was a bit better than on the net.
So, I still think it is the best advert ever yeah.
It's a good ad, but not the best ever in my opinion.
Lack of charisma can be fatal.
Visca Catalunya!
Didn't Honda do something like this?
"Religious belief is the “path of least resistance”, says Boyer, while disbelief requires effort."
Sort of, they had an old F1 car, racing bike and an S800 IIRC and then cut the footage up with a current F1 car, racing bike and S2000
the honda ad is more a celebration of its history i think. A way of celebrating the brand across the range of cars, boats, balloons etc. I still think thats a better ad. But the sound of this one beats anything.
Honda's Accord wagon commercial, with the Rube Goldberg Device using only parts of the car was pretty cool, but I still think this one beats it.
EDIT: Even though most of you have probably seen it here's a link anyway: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g2VCfOC69jc

I want to drive on Seacliff Road. Have you driven it 2ndclasscitizen?
The scene of the ferrari gunning it in Downtown N.Y. was my fav part, but the Aussie road is also beautiful. I think calling this an advertisment adds negative conotations to a beautiful thing..
